Concept:

To create a zine that highlights the older generations ignorance towards the threat that global warming has on everyones future, through the voice of younger generations anxieties; Whilst showcasing TSPTR's new SS22 collection.

Key Insights:

Nothing Happens Until The 'Big Man' Responds:

Russ Gater, founder of TSPTR, uses famous American pop cultural characters, Schulz's Peanuts characters, as an activist figure. From this, we wanted to explore our own activist figure that Gen Z are able to relate to; There are strong links between the narrative of The Lorax and the patterns in our society around environmental issues.

Older Generations Are Less Informed On Our Environmental Status:

There is a disconnected knowledge and a lack of urgency from those in older generations, due to their lack of social media presence. Social media is one of the biggest sources of media for young people.
